CyberOffice Club (CyberClub) offers database-driven membership functions to your Web site. It does what you think it should: Accepts applications from members, assign username, password to the member upon successful sign up. Provides a secure means to retrieve, update the password and/or any account information (to the extent permitted by the admin of the program). Most importantly, sensitive information like credit card numbers, passwords are stored in Triple-DES encryption with randomly-generated and secret encryption key. This meets the requirements by merchant banks and recently imposed commercial laws in the US (in case you haven't realized the importance of encryption). Accounts are classified into types with different properties and purposes on each one. Membership fees can be collected according to the types. If you do decide to charge a fee on certain type, the software will do the job seamlessly and automatically for you. Emails are used at various stages to excel in services.

CyberClub has a number built-in functions for your convenience. It has a handy yet powerful newsletter facility for you to mail out regular newsletters to your members (those who opt in to receive them of course, to follow the anti-spamming laws. They will be able to opt out at any time).  The facility allows you to use any HTML template and do mail merger to personalize the letter (can attach files if needed). It also has a bulletin board to post regular information updates on the site, targeting selected groups. Furthermore, a message log system is provided for the system admin to offer one-to-one support to the members.

CyberClub provides a means of authentication to your Web site.  This can be imposed on the restricted areas of your site, by adding a couple lines of codes on any HTML page. These pages can reside on any part of your site or another site. No SSL is required on the pages (the login page itself will be under secure connection). Another use of the program is to collect customer information - you can customize and add any fields to the sign up form.

CyberClub includes a very advanced and useful module, an automatic link exchange program for third-party sites to link to you and exchange the links. It does this un-attended and with careful prevention of potential abuses. It verifies from time to time the reciprocal links on the other sites, will only present links on your site if the link-back exists. This is a powerful tool to boost your search engine ranking over time (with no investment!). 

So much on the standalone application of CyberClub. In CyberOffice eCommerce platform, CyberClub appears everywhere, and is tightly integrated into various other components. It serves as an invaluable add-on to the latter. For an end-customer, CyberClub provides value added services like order history lookup, loyalty reward points, wish list, membership discounts, credit-back etc. For an affiliate, this is the account by which you track the sales report (and get paid). For a merchant, this is the account by which you upload the products or receive order notifications. For an auction bidder, you place bids on items by this account. In a captive market, CyberClub can be used to set a pricing matrix or a corporate credit limit on any individual account.

System Information: Windows NT/2000/2003 Server, Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 or above, MS SQL Server 6.5, 7.0, 2000 or MS Access 97, 2000, 2002, 2007. Also support Sybase Adaptive Server, MySQL Server.

CyberClub is, by design, seamlessly integrated with CyberShop or CyberBuild to offer the above said features. You normally don't have to do any coding. Simply make sure the linkage between the programs are correctly configured under the respective admin pages. Relevant references can be found on those pages.

Here is a quick way to implement CyberClub,

1. Download the program and run the setup on your PC.
2. Install Microsoft Personal Web Server (PWS) on your PC to test it (optional).
   Note that you must install PWS on your desktop computer in order to trial the software.
3. Following the Shared Server Installation Guide to upload to your Web site.
4. Install CyberShop on the same server if even CyberClub is used as standalone.

To impose an access restriction on a Web page, simply insert two lines of JavaScript codes on to the top of the page. The rest is taken care by the program.

Members can be divided into groups (i.e. account types). Each group can be either on paid or free services.
